I wanted to challenge myself to take Citymapper’s strong branding and rethink the user flow of their app. Citymapper is a competitive transit app that collects information on all available public transit but lacks a smooth and seamless user experience. I carefully rethought and redesigned ten screens—guiding the user from the initial opening screen to getting to a destination.

I’ve always depended on Denver’s RTD light rail system. Taking the same audience in mind, I thought of the best way to push the availability of trains and buses over electric scooters and Ubers/Lyfts. Finding an optimized user flow proved to be a task that I would edit over and over again as I tested my screens with people and got feedback.
